03 / Production Challenges
Fashion & Apparel Paper Shopping Bag Production Challenges and Our Solutions
Three production problems we design against, with the mechanism and the sample test behind each.

Preserve Printed Panels with Crease-Free Forming
A crease-free body targets the unintended horizontal waistline that spoils printed front panels.
- Crease-free forming addresses the waistline across the bag body, not the structural fold lines
- Static folding reduces surface contact on printed and laminated paper
- Confirmed on side-by-side sample bags before an order is released

Automate Handle Processes and Simplify Order Changes
Handle work and changeover are where apparel bag orders lose hours.
- ZW-A13 feeds, punches and knots round cord automatically
- ZW-A11 Pro switches round-rope and flat-ribbon programs on one platform
- ZW-A11 and ZW-A11 Pro list in-line rope inspection with automatic rejection of affected bags

Verify Handle and Bottom Strength with Sample Tests
Handle and bottom structures are confirmed on your own nominated sample bags.
- Flat ribbon bonded across the folded edge and the bag body
- ZW-A13 knotting structure inspected on finished bags
- ZW-A11 is confirmed with a glue-free bag bottom design; other models are checked by sample

05 / Technical Questions
FAQs About Fashion & Apparel Paper Shopping Bag Production
Answers on machine selection, printed sheets, output planning, sample testing and warranty terms.
Which machine should I choose for rope or ribbon handles?
ZW-A11 Pro runs both round-rope and flat-ribbon programs on one platform. ZW-A13 is dedicated to round-rope bags with automatic punching and knotting. Final selection is confirmed on bag width, height, gusset, cord material and the load the bag must carry.
Can the machine process my printed or laminated sheets?
Send the paper type, gsm, surface finish, die line and a sample bag. Our engineers check your specification against the selected model, and specialty surfaces are trialled on sample sheets before the order is confirmed.
What determines actual output and staffing requirements?
Bag type, paper stock, handle process, machine configuration and how you sequence orders all affect qualified output. Nominal speeds of 35–45 bags/min are not a daily production figure; plan from a trial run and your own operator arrangement.
What should I send for a machine recommendation and quotation?
A physical sample or photos, bag dimensions with an unfolded drawing, paper type and gsm, handle specification, target output, and destination country with power supply. Add acceptance and compliance requirements if your project has them.
Do the machines produce a glue-free bag bottom?
ZW-A11 is confirmed with a glue-free bag bottom design: the bottom does not rely on a glued joint. The mouth fold and handle reinforcement still use adhesive. For other models, glue-free capability is confirmed against your sample bag.
What are the lead time, installation and warranty terms?
On-site installation and commissioning take 7–10 days, and machines carry a 12-month warranty as stated in the contract. Lead time, price, custom scope and acceptance conditions are confirmed in the project quotation.
